Welcome to the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the AFI Los Angeles Int'l Film Fest mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival
The AFI Los Angeles Film Festival, held at the Arclight Hollywood and other venues around Hollywood Boulevard, is Los Angeles' largest and most prominent film festival. Featuring international competitions for features and documentaries, shorts, independent films and a wide range of regional spotlights, it is also one of the best chances to catch up on the latest international cinema in a town not widely known for its interest in the outside world.
Features, documentaries and shorts in 35 mm, 16 mm and video are the festival's stock-in-trade and there are prizes for new directors and writers as well as actors and cinematography.
